Ahdia Bavari is a Senior Compliance Specialist in Cassidy Levy Kent’s Washington D.C. office. Ms. Bavari provides support to clients, attorneys, and economists navigating complex customs and trade remedy proceedings before U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. International Trade Commission, United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) binational panels, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Her experience and expertise spans various regulatory bodies and governmental agencies, and she has firsthand knowledge and insight into government operations and processes.
Government Service
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bavari served in the Office of Trade at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In that role, she worked with stakeholders in and outside of CBP to effectively execute the agency’s AD/CVD enforcement strategy on a national level, as well as working on various trade enforcement-related issues across the agency.
In addition to her experience at CBP, Ms. Bavari previously served in the Office of Investigations at the U.S. International Trade Commission, where she worked on AD/CVD and import injury investigations and reviews covering numerous complex issues and industries. She joined the ITC after serving as an international trade specialist with Cassidy Levy Kent.
